2012

QARC CONCEPT

Peter Latemore (Founder) had an idea that could change the way people worked with Revit. He envisioned a top-notch Revit template and content that could benefit everyone.
2013

QARC LAUNCHED

The eagerly awaited day arrived. Early adopters finally received the materials via Dropbox. This package held the key to transforming a generic template into a practice’s unique version.
2016

IMPROVE CONSTANTLY

Over three years and several upgrades, the user base tripled. Each user contributed to the development, shaping the evolution of the product. Delivery was still via Dropbox.
2017

DEVELOPMENT STARTED

After extensive discussions, we launched our first plugin. Our users were thrilled with the new delivery method, especially the unique Drag+Drop functionality for system families.
2018

MANUFACTURERS JOIN

As we reach out to manufacturers, our users were excited about it, and quickly became a central focus and recognised the value of having their products in the Revit content library.
2019

WELCOME BIMLOCKER

We invited additional shareholders and began developing early versions of BIMLocker, which featured the distinctive Drag+Drop delivery method for creating personalised content libraries.
2022

CONSOLIDATION

BIMLocker evolved into Workgroup and Enterprise versions, introducing new tools like AutoMark and an expanding roadmap of new features to wow our users.
2024

REBRANDING ROLLOUT

We undertook a major overhaul of our brand identity, resulting in the launch of a redesigned. Alongside this, we expanded our offerings by introducing additional services to better meet our users' needs.

PETER LATEMORE

Director
Peter is a multi-awarded Building Designer beginning his career in 1979. During this long period, he developed an abiding interest in good documentation, starting with hand drafting, through AutoCAD, ultimately to Revit in 2004.

MARK WILSON

As a sole practicing Architect since 1986, Mark has always been at the forefront of technical advancements in the Architectural Design industry. He has moved from the Drawing Board through AutoCAD and various 3D packages to Revit in 2011.

GLENN BOND

Plug-in Software Developer
Glenn and his team are the ‘brains’ behind the QARC Plug-in. We found them via Mark’s interest in karate, as Glenn is also a master. It was rather fortuitous, as we needed someone local, and could understand what we were trying to achieve with Revit.

KAYLENE RICHARDSON

Developer
Kaylene has been a building designer since 2007. She had changed career, moving from IT to building design, and has been with Latemore Design ever since. Her fascination with the built environment is a real boost to both Latemore Design and QARC.

A mid-life change in career aspirations saw Andrew moving from a background in Social Sciences to Architectural Studies and ultimately to attain the position of Documenter with Latemore Design in 2007.

Office Manager
Julie has been working with Peter Latemore at Latemore Design as office manager since 2006. When Andrew and Kaylene arrived a year later, it was obvious we had a team of highly skilled Revit users.
