of using QARC System
I highly recommend the QARC Systems Revit template for any small to medium sized architectural practice that works in the new residential, alterations & additions or multi-residential sectors. Prior to setting up my own small practice, I had previously been using Revit in larger firms with the benefit of dedicated in-house Revit staff. I have found the QARC System to be most helpful in setting up not only a system for my practice, but a system that works because it has been designed by people experienced in their field.
The value of the system far outweighs the costs outlaid. I have found that it has also been helpful in training and assisting junior staff with little or no experience. I believe it would also be beneficial for those practices wanting to change from another CAD system to Revit. It would certainly get you up and running quicker. The system is constantly being updated which is a great time saver for our practice.
We enjoy the workshops that are held a few times throughout the year as a way to provide comment for improvement of the system for all. The workshops also are a way to touch base with other Revit users and discuss best practice ways of using Revit. Peter, Mark, Kaylene & the rest of the team are friendly and extremely helpful with sorting out any issues. They are always performing above and beyond the call of duty.
